The decentralization of sidrachainn.net depends on our global network of validators. By hosting a node, you are not just securing transactions; you are becoming a fundamental pillar of the world's first Islamic DeFi blockchain.

Hardware Requirements

To ensure high finality and 99.9% uptime, we recommend the following minimum specifications for running a Sidra Validation Node:

ComponentRecommended Spec
CPU4 Cores (2.5GHz+)
RAM8GB DDR4
Storage256GB SSD (NVMe)
Network100 Mbps Stable

The Reward Structure

Validator Incentives

Rewards are distributed every 24 hours based on successful block validation and uptime percentage. Higher uptime equals higher priority in the consensus queue.

Unlike traditional Proof of Work systems that require massive energy consumption, Sidra Chain uses a Proof of Authority (PoA) and Proof of Identity (PoI) hybrid model. This makes node operation eco-friendly and sharia-compliant.

Maintaining "Node Health" is critical. If a node goes offline for more than 4 consecutive hours, it may face temporary jailing, reducing the rewards for that cycle. Detailed setup scripts and Docker images can be found at sidrachainn.net/nodes.
